Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use Elvyte (the “service”), operated by [set VITE_LEGAL_NAME] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, buying a pass or sending invitations, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Elvyte lets you create digital invitations from ready-made designs, personalise them, create a personal link for each guest, share those links, and collect RSVPs. Guests open their link in a web browser and do not need an account.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy a pass.
• Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Passes and payments

• The Free plan allows one invitation for up to 5 guests. Paid passes allow the number of invitations and guests, and the designs, shown on the pricing page at the time you buy.
• Passes are one-time payments in Indian rupees. They do not renew automatically and are never charged again.
• A pass is active as soon as the payment is confirmed and lasts for its stated validity. A new pass starts the day you buy it and replaces your current one.
• Invitations you have already sent keep working after your pass ends. A current pass is needed only to send new invitations or add guests.
• Personal passes are for your own events. Sending invitations for clients requires the Business pass.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• We may change prices for future purchases. A pass you have bought keeps the terms it was sold with.
• Refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy.

4. Your content and your guests

• You own what you add: names, event details, wording, photos and your guest list. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to provide the service to you and your guests.
• Only add people you are inviting, and only share their details for the event. You are responsible for having the right to use any photos and text you upload.
• Do not use Elvyte for anything unlawful, misleading, hateful or abusive, for spam or unsolicited promotion, or to collect other people’s data.

5. Guest links and client links

• Each guest link is personal and opens on a limited number of devices. Once that limit is reached it will not open on further devices.
• You can fix a guest’s name or withdraw a link at any time. A withdrawn link stops showing the invitation.
• Business pass holders may give a client a private link to edit and send an invitation. Everything done through it counts against the business’s pass, and the business remains responsible for it.

6. Designs

The designs, animations and software belong to us or to the designers who licensed them to us. You may use them to make and send invitations through Elvyte. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the designs or the software, or try to extract them from the service.

7. Availability

We work to keep Elvyte available and your invitations reachable, but we cannot promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update or change features. We will tell you in advance before removing something you have paid for.

8. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we reasonably can.

9. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of [set VITE_LEGAL_CITY], India. Please contact us first; most problems are resolved quickly that way.
